The 2026 Light in the Dark Fest is headlined by SUSTO. SUSTO is the moniker of singer-songwriter, Justin Osborne-who happens to be the greatest band there is. Based out of Asheville, Charleston, and Austin, he will be performing in South FL for one night only. SUSTO has played in arenas opening for artists such as Noah Kahan and The Lumineers. SUSTO's previous albums have been signed to Rounder Records alongside many of the other greats including Woody Guthrie, Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin, Bela Fleck, as well as New West Records (which has featured many top acts such as The Wallflowers and Ben Folds).
Hurricane Yellow (Oscar Sardiñas of Jaialai) is the 2026 local music headliner. His newest project, Hurricane Yellow was nominated by the Miami New Times as the “Best Solo Artist” of 2024. Jaialai was selected as the Miami New Times “Best Musical Act” of 2021, The Miami New Times “Reader’s Choice Best Band” of 2020, and various other awards. Oscar has played III Points, Okeechobee, and at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts while also gaining national recognition on playlists such as Spotify’s Neo Psychedelic Rock.

Feels like: the original good vibe band
Sounds like: Psychedelic Rock with Roots Rock Accents and like if Alex Chilton, Wayne Coyne, and The Everly Brothers had a baby
Looks like: (also see: Alex Chilton), The long lost Monkees, The Who (See also: Roger Daltrey/ Josh Netsky) & Pete Townsend/ Overhand Sam)

Last time Johnny Delaware was in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, was back in 2017 at The Fillmore, opening up for Band of Horses with his outfit, The Artisanals. This time he returns to Funk&Flow, an intimate vortex equipped with a peace sign beaded curtain, nestled in Ft. Lauderdale to headline Light in the Dark Fest (Jan 27th from 8:00-11:00 PM).
Event will include film screening of his unreleased iconic music video, AI, along with a discussion panel on AI and social media (led by university professors), and a full lineup including Matt Brown, Mild Wild, yepecc, Delusion Bay, Omavi Waite, and many others! Sound Healing starts at 7:00. Tickets on sale now.
Delaware has worked in production with Drew Vandenberg (Toro y Moi, of Montreal, Kishi Bashi) and Wolfgang Zimmerman (Band of Horses, SUSTO) and has been critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, Billboard, Paste, and Daytrotter. He was named Singer-Songwriter of the Year by The Charleston City Paper. His many musical acts include: Co-creating SUSTO, spearheading The Artisanals, and his solo project. When not touring he currently lives in Mexico. His 3rd solo release is due sometime in 2024.
